VCSO exists to provide educational resources for
Christian home education. It is therefore essential
that all subscribers are in broad sympathy with the
teachings of God’s Word
WEBSITE SECURITY
To enable maximum security, only current
subscribers are entitled to access password
protected resources. To avoid compromising
security please never reveal passwords to non-
subscribers.
VIDEO CONFERENCING
Video conferencing is subject to the full
agreement and signing of the ‘Code of Conduct’.
Members whose behaviour is unacceptable
when using the video conferencing facilities will
be removed and if necessary, banned from
taking part in future conferences.
LINKS TO EXTERNAL WEBSITES
VCSO provides links to educational websites.
By doing so we do not endorse the complete
content of such websites. At all times parents
must undertake full responsibility when their
children are accessing these websites.
COMPATIBLE BROWSERS
This website is fully compatible with all major
internet browsers.
VCSO computers are accessed remotely using
Logmein. Logmein is fully compatible with
Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox which are
both able to transmit audio from the VCSO
computer to subscriber’s computers. Logmein
is compatible with Google Chrome but the audio
is not transmitted.
Most of the resources on this website contain
Adobe Flash files.
Apple Mac computers using Safari web browser
are able to access all such resources.
The Ios operating system which runs on iPADs
and Iphones is not able to run the Adobe Flash
files.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
To access all of our document resources
requires the use of the “WebEx Document
Suite”. The installation of this software
requires that PowerPoint is also installed. If
you do not have PowerPoint installed you will
need to download the trial version from the
Microsoft website. Once this is installed the
WebEx document suite can be installed.
There is no need to purchase Microsoft office
PowerPoint and it can be uninstalled
afterwards and the WebEx document suite
will continue to function correctly.
